Any tips for finding long-term accomodations when traveling abroad (1-2 montgs). Monthly rates for Airbnbs are outrageously high, even in countries considered cheap.

Book Airbnb for like a week, if you like it ask host to book it for longer but pay him directly without paying Airbnb fees

Just reach out to host! They might be accommodating you and cancel other bookings as it’s easier for them to have one stable guest. It’s very individual
