Yes good callout. Am checking some out and it seems like you just save like $5-$7 pp but get way less optionally so better to just order what you want rather than prefixed.

Unfortunately, the general consensus is DineLA hasn’t really been worth it for at least several years 

I think the best option for trying new restaurants these days is social dinners

Dos Besos (Pasadena)
Hippo (highland park)
All day baby (silver lake)

Matu (BH) and Jame (El Segundo) have had solid Dine LA options before but I agree with some other posters that the options are hit or miss.
