This is the web3 wallet in the Coinbase retail app.

I’m confused; is coinbase wallet no longer going to function like a normal wallet and only be smart wallets?

I've had friends of mine specifically state to me that taking their crypto outside of a centralized exchange terrifies them because they don't trust themselves to not end up a victim of bad actors.

The ability to access DeFi from the safety of a brand they trust will help this barrier, imo.

Hope they don’t sunset the users along with the products
