Ok first of all I gotta admit that I am digging way too deep into this. But I am a data sleuth, sorry.🫠 I want to make clear that this is no bashing on any DEGEN dev, I just want to state my observations.

There is a second "problem" regarding the allowance calculation.

If people who would get an OpenRank boost to their allowance did not stake any DEGEN their OpenRank boost is "lost" as well.

Currently, ~340k of the 500k OpenRank boost is NOT allocated.

This results in a total of ~730k DEGEN that are NOT allocated to people's allowances per day.

One reason we love building in the open is so you can analyze our algorithm. We’ve fixed an issue with @openrank points where not all 500k were being distributed daily. If you’re in the top 5000 OpenRank users, you should see a small bump in your tip allowance now.

Openrank is a fair ranking system, but this new season is not going in the same direction. I hope to see my allocation rise tomorrow, but if one day I can no longer tip with degen even with an openrank of 300, I will build without degen. It doesn't bother me, and I will have been proud to participate in these first seasons.

Of course it did. It helped me build relationships with and reward those who deserved it. I've rewarded people who have become friends, quality content creators as you described during these first five seasons, artists, developers, collectors, OGs, apps, cool people, intellectuals, optimists, and others. 

This is how I was able to evolve here. But I didn't just do that. I sold many works with degen, participated in numerous games and applications, and even sold 10% of my degen to buy new software and creations, and hold 90% . However, if I was wrong about the meaning I gave to my tipping, if the wind changes, and tipping is now only held by the big holders, then I'll watch them tip each other. It doesn't bother me, but I'm proud of what I've accomplished. Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity to build as I have.

Not sure what tip allowances have to do with building. You can definitely build on Degen without a tip allowance.
