I understand your love for techno. The 80s were crazy with everything that was happening in the techno scene, I loved it too. We all have a unique story and memories that left their mark on us during our teenage years.

I think it was Kraftwerk for me, but same thing. 

When I first really really fell in love with EDM, I met a kid down the hall from me Freshman year of college and he had a drum machine and he said, I hear you listening to NIN, let me show you how he makes that... then after that he was like, now let me show you hard techno. I was in love forever.
