This is my last childhood dog. We rescued him off the street, all covered in oil, right before I left home for Japan. Spent a few weeks searching for an owner before we decided to keep him. As a puppy, he used to lay his hind legs flat to squeeze underneath my bed. He became to big to fit after a while, but the hind legs habit never left. He passed away two years ago. Miss him and grateful for the time we had together.

Oh, that dog looks so sweet. I know how deeply one can love a dog, and how losing them must be heartbreaking, their presence in our home is beyond words 馃ズ

Truly, the thing I wish I could change most is having a pet while still being able to travel. Because we move from country to country, it wouldn't be kind to a dog, but I wish my son could grow up with one like I did.
