Between Aspen, Vail or Park City, where would you go for skiing during the winter? Why?

I’m going. Ski is important but also good food and the experience there. Want to go some place with snow for a few days for the winter

Vail and Park City can get very crowded holidays and weekends. Aspen is further away and tends not to get day trippers. all three have great towns, food and ambience.

have you considered Telluride?

Interesting. Just with my wife. I’m a noob skier

cool - in this case, i would prob not go to Vail. it's not very beginner friendly

can you avoid holidays/weekends? early season may be great to save money and skip crowds since as a beginner it doesn't matter if upper/steeper runs have coverage yet

Beaver Creek is nice-tree lighting and fireworks Thanksgiving i think

other great times to ski without crowds are last 3 weeks of Jan and first two weeks of Feb, though don't go to Park City during Sundance--last week of Jan usually--unless you are there for the films

another awesome option many don't know about is Alta or Solitude early April
