The live-action remake of Tangled has been temporarily shelved due to poor box office and the overwhelmingly negative reaction to Snow White. Interestingly, Disney was considering black actress Francesca Amudu-Rivers, who played Juliet opposite Tom Holland in the West End production of Shakespeare's play, for the lead role. The project may now be in for a complete rethink, although it is unclear whether it will return to production at all.
