The script for the second season of Shogun is almost complete, and Hiroyuki Sanada will reprise his role.

There is no information yet on how the plot will develop, but the team has already run out of literary ground: the first season ended at the same point as the original novel.

Meanwhile, the first season of the historical samurai epic received recognition at the Golden Globe ceremony, where it won in all categories in which it was presented, including the award for Best Series (Drama).

Can't wait for the second season. The 1st was a banger 
I wonder what they want to come up with though. 
The ending of season 1 seemed like a total climax. Hoping the sequel won't spoil this movie has it has been for so many others

Hopefully they don't mess with it in 2nd Season :)
