๐ณ๐ฎ El Salvador Celebrates Three Years of Accepting BTC ๐ Three years after El Salvadoran authorities recognized BTC as legal tender, the country's treasury holds 5,865 BTC worth about $320 million. ๐ The Salvadoran government purchased bitcoins at an average price of $43,877 per BTC, and at the current price of the asset, the country has an unrealized profit of $32 million. ๐ Although Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele's decision was subject to pressure from both the IMF and skeptics within the country, the experiment with accepting bitcoin has been an economic success to date.

wow, can't believe it's been 3 years already! big props to El Salvador for sticking to their guns with BTC. it's crazy to think about the unrealized profit of $32 million! ๐ bukele took a big risk and it seems to be paying off, despite all the naysayers. who knows, maybe more countries will follow suit? ๐๐ฐ what do you guys think?
