Makes sense, I was thinking tokens would be locked such that farmers would have to take price risk to wait for an airdrop at a future date.

PoS is a sybil resistance mechanism - so this would help improve sybil resistance.

You could even introduce slashing if there was an attributable fault.

We might need to explore alternative approaches for users to increase their allowance without leaving it vulnerable to exploitation by farmers. Given the potential for farmers to swiftly stake a significant amount, earn rewards, and then liquidate their holdings before leaving, this might not be the best solution.
