In May 2025, Skype will be retired ➡️the end of an era. Being a founder, I grew up with Skype. It was how I called friends and colleagues abroad, how I saw family when I was far from home. It was the sound of connection, the blur of pixelated faces, the little blue ring of comfort. Farewell, old friend.

Skype was our 5th and 6th grade chat before WhatsApp and how we did group calls during WhatsApp attacks (I won’t explain) Then TeamSpeak + WhatsApp calls took over
