It looks like @rodeodotclub has disabled crypto deposits—on iOS, you can only deposit via Apple Pay. There’s something about depositing fiat that feels very different. I’ve collected 93 NFTs, and I probably won’t refill my account.

my hunch is that most rodeo users are crypto natives. I can't speak for everyone else, but I am not using my cc to refill my rodeo account.

First they tell us use your crypto that’s is open , and now you have to use Apple Pay . 

I get why rodeo is doing that move, but I doubt they will succeed.

The web client supports depositing via USDC already. Try it out!

We'll bring USDC deposits to native as well. It wasn't disabled. We've yet to build it out.

Yeah, depositing fiat makes it feel real, like your (my) mind starts to think, "hmmm, I could have spent that on a nice dinner". But when it's ETH or USDC I've already earmarked for my "crypto fuck around and find out" money I don't care if I lose it, I was never going to buy dinner with it in the first place
