I feel like the last few years of negotiating with the city and proposing new stadiums were all for show too. The impossible port stadium proposal, the gondola that would ferry people over the freeway…. They were never serious.

being an A's fan in Sweden since the 80's, feeling the loss - can't imagine what it feels like for fans in Oakland.
