i think a fad and also don’t think it’ll be a feature of popular apps - the more ppl you accept the worse the experience gets - you’re forced out of the experience by not participating (can’t see others posts without posting), opposite of sticky

people would like Instagram/twitter a lot if it was just their 20 best friends posting stories and photos close friends list work but it doesn’t quite hit as well as a specialized close friends app
