False spring is over, squashing my plans for a beach cleanup today. So instead I’ll organize my garbage art collection, as next month I plan to host a gathering teaching people how to make collage art out of garbage!

Got back to Canada yesterday and headed straight to the Elbow river to do a cleanup. There was less garbage than I expected but still managed to fill a bag with lots of plastic wrappers and packaging, and 15 cigarette butts https://youtube.com/shorts/KlUJ7U6DGhA?si=k4T1KuoGlGaDlC24

I am away in Colombia for a regenerative immersion, so unable to clean my river or make more fish at the moment! I'll be heading to a beach in a week so I will be sure to look for trash to pick up ☺️

During a trip to the coast to escape the cold, I picked up some beach litter from Mowat Bay Park (coordinates 49.8799628, -124.5288421) Lots of coffee cups, motor oil jugs, and fast food packaging ✌️
