Batman: The Animated Series 
Original Television Soundtrack — Volume 4 (CD cover by Jim Titus)
1) The original scan of the animated cell lithographic, showing paper wear and some ink erosion. 
2) Using the scan as reference, the line art of the Batman character was then redrawn in Adobe Illustrator.

3) Finished vector artwork in black and white.
4) Final colored Batman figure combined with digital cleanup of painted backdrop, including replacement sky and slightly repositioned buildings. Those with really sharp eyes will note a very slight shadowing effect added behind the figure, meant to simulate the effect of overlaying hand-painted celluloid over the background painting.
