Explore: Sichuan Restaurant, founded in Vienna in 1989, offering authentic Sichuan cuisine While taking a walk in Danube Park, I caught a magnificent sunset view and a Chinese courtyard in the distance caught my attention. It was learned that this was built in 1988 to commemorate the friendly relations between Sichuan and Vienna. The Sichuan government purchased this land, and all building materials were transported from China. Despite poor management and privatization, this restaurant still exudes an authentic Chinese garden atmosphere.
