I'm not a chef by any means, but I do find cooking to be a nice, "hands-on" break from the screen.

I bought the katsu from the store since i don't usually do frying at home, and fortunately the rest of the recipe was easy.

1/2 an onion
3 tbs of soy sauce 
3 tbs of mirin
half a cup of water
20g or so of sugar
1 egg
arbitrary amount of katsu
some spring onion

1. add sauce with onion and boil on med-low until onions start to get soft
2, add katsu
3. pour egg over the top
4. don't overcook it
5. pour on top of rice
(add veggies if you like veggies)
