At the GYM temple near my house, I was listening today to an audio sermon by Father David and Father Ryan from /bankless They mentioned that Trump had purchased $40 million worth of ETH, and the Fed chair stated that Bitcoin wouldn’t compete with the dollar because it’s competing with gold. Putting these two pieces of news together, I concluded that we’re not bullish enough on Ethereum and Base. It seems likely that Trump has already chosen Ethereum as the platform for the global permissionless expansion of the dollar in the form of USDC, facilitated by Coinbase/Base. If something looks and sounds like a blue ocean for Ethereum and Base, then it is a blue ocean for Ethereum and Base. It’s time to pump not just your muscles but also your bags, and @trustlessstate needs to invite Donald Trump to the February episodes of the podcast.
