not necessarily Adam Smith book is extremely pragmatic, this one is more open-ended, questioning, intended to ruminate on unanswerables read it if you’re interested in hearing about technology from the perspective of a lifelong Christian turned atheist, why we label ourselves as the prevailing tech of our age (1900s: man as machine / 2000s: man as computer), and general thoughts on where we go next
