There’s something interesting about the fact that my tweens and their friends are tech savvy but staunchly against AI images in particular, e.g. I show them my Ghibli photo remix: “that’s not cool, a real artist didn’t make it” I make coloring sheets using ChatGPT: “these are too specific to what I like, it’s better to just get random ones” Also: “Pinterest is full of AI slop that has a thousand likes but real hand drawn art only gets one like, it’s not right”
