What is the best bit of advice that you have ever been given? Who gave it to you and how did it impact you?

I remember an old boss of mine told me "the cream always rises to the top". It really stuck with me. The message is that if you work hard to develop your talents then you will eventually rise to the top and be rewarded for your efforts.

I found a particular career path challenging and uninteresting, yet I couldn’t quite let it go. My sister encouraged me to try something different, so I did, although the first new option didn’t click either. After continuing to explore, I eventually found my niche—one I’m truly passionate about. 
This taught me to keep pushing forward. Never stop trying until you find what feels right for you.
