comments like grey’s remind me how grateful i am for fc in 2023 i started sharing photos from my nomad travels on fc bc this place felt like an outlet to just be myself across all my interests i wasn’t sharing the photos publicly on other socials bc it felt outside my niche, so i thought “my followers aren’t interested in that” - a feeling that is prob fairly common on X, insta, linkedIn, etc, given that i see many who only share things in 1-2 niches there the fc experience in 2023 was both different and similar to today - while i might cast 5-7 times a week and only get 1-2 replies total lol, those replies would often lead to deeper conversation and ongoing friendship - just as they do today fast forward to 2024 and fc boomed, so many talented photographers and artists joined that i feel lucky to call friends now - it wasn’t until last summer i even considered myself a “photographer” after hearing positive comments from so many ppl here, including those i looked up to, grateful 🙏

I'm glad to see that your experience is rewarding. I feel a little identified with you. I was never active on any social network. However, here in FC, I feel free. And although I am not a professional photographer, I am satisfied to see that many people appreciate my captures, even professional photographers, that makes me proud, and gives me momentum to move forward. FC has been a great discovery for me, I'm glad to be surrounded by talent and above all great people
