how do you think about users? who are your target users, and how do you segment them? is web3 gamer a thing, or are they just gamers who play games w/ web3? card games are more competitive, does that lead to a different user set?

We want to target players who like to play simulation, turn-based, nation builder type games. So far those genres seem well suited for the types of tech limitations in onchain gaming. We're still day 1 in our journey so I expect we'll try a lot of different genres out before we find the magic formula that works.

I do think you need to target a specific player profile, however. It's important to try to not be everything to everyone. For Pirate Nation we're focusing on folks that like card games & rpgs. We smashed the two genres together to create a pretty new type of game where as you level up, your deck grows.
