Among these famous paintings, the portrait of Mona Lisa is probably one of the most well-known and best paintings in the world, which many people are familiar with.  It is said that Francesco Bartolomeo, one of the aristocrats of the city of Florence, Italy, requested da Vinci that the face of his third wife;  Lisa Antonio paint Maria.  By accepting this request, da Vinci painted one of the most influential portraits of all time, but it is interesting to know that the Mona Lisa painting was never sold to Bartolomeo and Leonardo da Vinci kept this painting.

The "Mona Lisa" is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and recognized paintings globally. Commissioned by Francesco Bartolomeo to depict his third wife, Lisa Gherardini, da Vinci created a masterpiece that transcended its original purpose. Interestingly, despite being commissioned, da Vinci never sold the painting, choosing to keep this influential work for himself.
