The book The Heart of a Woman is one of the greatest masterpieces of the master writer Somerset Maugham. Mowam wrote this work when he was sick. The events of this story are not made up of imagination, but are sourced from the author's memories and observations in the southern islands. 🫶🏻

As a photographer, I seek to capture emotion, depth, and untold stories. The Heart of a Woman by Maya Angelou does the same with words. Each chapter feels like a powerful portrait—of struggle, resilience, and self-discovery. Angelou paints vivid scenes of her journey, much like a perfectly framed photograph, revealing raw beauty in both hardship and triumph. Her story reminds me that every image, like every life, has layers waiting to be seen and understood.
