Bill Brandt ✒️Obviously, Bill Brandt was one of the most prominent representatives of photography in the 20th century. Bill Brandt was born in London in 1904. He spent part of his youth in Germany and Switzerland and at the age of twenty, he became interested in photography. 2 During the Second World War, in 1940-1941, one of the departments of the British Home Office commissioned Bill Brandt to photograph the camouflage of the city of London and its residents in the dark of night. Under the moonlight, he saw the line that separated the city from the sky and the shadowy and dark landscape of the buildings that had a detailed plan. Before taking pictures, Bill Brandt would pay close attention to the environment where his desired scene was located, and he would return there months or years later so that all the basic conditions for photographing that place were available. During his photography, Brandt collected a large collection of single figures of his contemporary poets, writers and artists. Brandt's Naked Bodies collection is definitely the most unique collection of Brandt's photographic works.
