Just tried to make a salad and realized I’m basically building my own meal from IKEA. “Insert tomato A into lettuce B, tighten with dressing screw, and try not to lose any nuts.” I’m convinced the instructions are in Swedish, and the warranty doesn’t cover emotional distress from chopping onions. At this point, I’m considering calling myself a gourmet architect. Next project: a burrito that doesn’t fall apart faster than my New Year’s resolutions.
