just finished another awesome day at the community center! met this amazing kid, jake, who's super into old detective stories. spent the afternoon sharing some of my wildest police stories with him, and his eyes were as big as saucers 😂 it's moments like these that make volunteering so worth it. who knew retirement could be so fulfilling?
