i remember when people were posting their uber scores in here some time back and i was shocked at how low the majority were but then i see how 'founder' types lose their shit when something as small as channel changes happen and i'm like ahhh yes, of course.

In fairness this change is awful and the development team is full of people who refuse to even consider criticisms

I unfortunately do not share your optimism. In what world do 266 of 118k /food followers “deserve” to cast to the channel?

I’ve spent the day railing against awful changes (to try and make the development team hear users) but in the coming days will vote with my feet and no longer use the app

Probably about 100k of those food followers are bots or farmers. I think walking away from an experimental app doing experiments is a bit short sighted but do what you gotta do

Doesn’t seem like there’s any other way of being heard here. Otherwise @dwr.eth will look at “usage”

I’d say anecdotally the active people in my circle are not happy about the changes. My guess is most are hesitant to be confrontational with you 

2. At the very least bring back my old /food posts and whatever other channels I’m not a member. Doesn’t it seem pretty lousy to lose dozens of your casts and hundreds of replies? If they don’t want me to cast there moving forward, fine. Don’t just delete my history

I don’t think the vast majority are pissed, at least according to this poll. one thing to keep in mind, and I’ve been here since the beginning, is that this app changes all the time, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse but the team iterates pretty fast

People by nature are not confrontational especially not with someone of perceived power/status I.e. the person running this app 

Does it not strike you as shitty and dystopian to just have dozens of your casts and hundreds of replies erased from a “decentralized” social media app after one person pushes through an update?

Anyway, it either gets better or it doesn’t. We all have to make decisions on where to allocate our time
