I’m familiar with this album and artist but haven’t really delved into them. This will be the push I need to do so. Admittedly at a festival years ago I passed up Morrissey for D’Angelo and the Vanguard

Well Morrissey has become an insufferable moron and I didn’t really listen to his solo stuff so I don’t blame you. However the Smiths is really Goated, 4 albums all 10/10. One of the greatest and most influential band of the 80’s. Huge influence for Radiohead too hehe 😄🐐

Yes! I mainly listened to Voodoo and Black Messiah (D’Angelo and the Vanguard) Really good records! 🍻

I figured you were familiar with Voodoo at the very least. If it’s been a while or you didn’t listen to it much give Brown Sugar another listen, very good album imo
