Well I like to get out to my Villa there at least once per year (lol I wish) Im American, a euro mutt heritage wise. Little to no Italian that I’m aware of. Have only been to Italy once but had a great trip for a couple of weeks and extended my Florence leg because I was enjoying it so much

ugh you almost got me thereeeee! A VILLA??? my face was like 😲😲 haha What did you love the most about it? Food, weather? architecture, its people? Did you have difficulty with communicating with the locals?

I’d say food, art, general beauty of the cities I visited + countryside during train travel. Communication wasn’t bad but I did have an Italian friend who came down from the Milan area during the Venice portion. Stayed in city areas so that made it easier (Venice, Rome, Florence, and Naples). The food was incredible
