This isn’t meant to provoke nor be a shitpost, I’m curious why I see a lot of artist friends minting on Tezos? I currently have 5 different wallets with NFTs, my collection is fragmented and hard to display - It’s hard to justify getting a wallet and starting a collection on a chain I’m not confident will be around in 5-10 years My feeling is that Tezos was a more artist friendly chain years back and probably still has an affluent artist community Would love to hear from artists and fellow collectors, I truly just want to see artist’s be treated fairly and succeed

Tezos and objkt my favorite place I collected. Fairly battle tested. HEN collapsed. Community held it together. Others prob know more. Fx hash was/is tits.

Interesting. Are you at all concerned about the long term viability of the chain and what happens to the art if it ceases to exist?

Yolo. Kinda serious. No more or less than random crypto chains and exposure in general. Most of the artists are still active too. Very few made Ξ money last cycle. True warriors.

A totally fair response. I’ve always tried to pick various areas of the sandbox to play to maximize time + opportunity but that’s more investing philosophy than collecting

Some Things have been done in wallets I control I may not have been aware of. 🤣 I don’t collect much there anymore. But as far as longevity. See no reason rodeo should outline them either. Based on foundation (I think) and makersplace. Pretty concerned about my nifty gateway pieces.

Yeah there’s definitely risk on damn near every chain/service lol Not really sure what the remedy would be, transfer/re-mint on a different platform?
