If the goal was less engagement and more needless gatekeeping then I think the changes @dwr.eth made to channel membership are incredible! I’ve been a prolific caster in /food and have an existing streak since they were introduced. Went to cast last night and realized I couldn’t (as a non member lol) Difficult to figure out why DAU is down and so many OGs don’t bother with the app anymore

Just beyond stupid. Now the onus is on @colin to add us all as members. Keeping in mind he has 328k followers and is ceo of Mirror. I’m sure at the top of his list in the morning is needless administrative work for a social media app
