Solana, built for TPS, is attractive but vulnerable to disruption by newer, faster chains emerging over time. Ordinals has potential, yet the risk remains that inscription functionality could be deprecated to preserve Bitcoin’s primary value as secure digital money. L2s primarily solve near-term scaling and fee issues on Eth, which makes them a bit more challenging to project long-term.
