Banksy’s work often feels more like performance art wrapped in anonymity than genuine street art. The mystique sells, sure but it’s theatrical. Meanwhile, doxxed artists put themselves out there every day, facing real-world struggles without the luxury of hiding behind a persona. Shallow spectacle maybe they should look in the mirror.
