“An easy and authentic way to enjoy green tea in the summer." Do you drink green tea? When most Japanese hear the words "green tea," they think of matcha (powdered green tea), but Japanese people rarely drink matcha. However, green tea is common. Green tea tends to have a bitter taste when brewed at high temperatures, and the ideal temperature is said to be 50-70°C water. However, you want to drink cold green tea in summer, don't you? Would you add ice to tea brewed at the ideal temperature? Then the green tea will be diluted. An easier and tastier way to brew. Just 5 steps! This is the method I learned from a green tea store! Put tea leaves in a kyusu (teapot). (about 2 teaspoons) Put ice on top of the tea leaves. Fill the teapot with water (about 150-200 ml). Wait for 3 minutes, shaking it slightly from time to time. Fill the cup with green tea. How easy it is! Even my 5 year old son could do it. Brewing at low temperature makes for a refreshing, sweet, and delicious green tea. Please give it a try.
