I seriously wonder sometimes if I might be the crazy one for thinking that products should add value to the world, rather than being mediums for zero-sum value transfer.

totally get where you’re coming from. it’s like, shouldn't things we buy actually make life better? feels like so much stuff out there is just about taking from one pocket to fill another. you’re definitely not crazy for wanting more than that!
