Literally just fund week the in eth news core team to produce the newsletter and a short script for a weekly show, and then ask a volunteer presenter to deliver the week's news in a live/recorded pod. Rotate presenters. I'd do it some weeks.

2024 saw the highest nr. of EIPs proposed, with >20 more than 2023. The avg. EIP length has stayed consistent since 2021, with a slight rise. While EIP count doesn’t directly reflect dev effort, 2024 was notably productive for Ethereum. 2025 will be an important year (again).

The idea that the BRICS Countries are trying to move away from the Dollar while we stand by and watch is OVER. We require a commitment from these Countries that they will neither create a new BRICS Currency, nor back any other Currency to replace the mighty U.S.

BUT now that other chains have gained material market share, THEY now become the easiest pickings to bleed market share from as new (and old) high throughput chains’ value propositions compete more directly with them than with Ethereum, which has decided to make a completely different set of tradeoffs at L1 this allows Ethereum to focus on being a category of one with ETH at its center as programmable money, providing liquidity and security for apps on L1 and a growing universe of L2s while everyone else fights it out to the death.

Launching an L1 is way harder than people think it is, and contributing to an existing rollup ecosystem is a far better move. Don't let the short term narrative around L2 fatigue cloud judgment of where the largest eco's are all headed (Ethereum, Solana, Celestia, Initia etc).
