For a year now, I've been building the /base-bulgarian, /ventures /ecocaster community.
Myself and the community have been through a lot. 
Today I found out that all people who are members of /ventures have been banned indiscriminately. (I'm on the list, too.), it's very frustrating when you try, work hard and get rewarded, but it turns out it's not "rewarding valuable content on Farcaster."

I also want to mention people-friends/my supporters who have their social weight here, I won't refuse support. 
All tips I received from you my friends this month are annulled. 
I would like to draw Jacek's attention to this. 
Maybe it's just a bug, but it's been a terrible day since this morning.

hey Jacek! i’d like to share my thoughts and, hopefully, be heard.

yes, i clearly remember the statement that degen points are not money, not “our” money, and so on. i understand and accept the rules of the game. however...

you talk about fighting farming and end up banning one of the largest CIS channels on warpcast - i think you know which channel i’m referring to, it's /ventures. maybe this is all just emotions speaking, but i can’t help but point out: one person managed to onboard so many people into crypto in such a short time. not by using obscure or complicated tools, but by showing a side of crypto that feels familiar, understandable, and social. real people started discovering the Web3 world through warpcast in general and degen in particular.

now I discovered that i’m banned with degen. probably because i supported my friends in /ventures those who supported me.

well, crypto teaches once again. 
some of you know, at Christmas Eve, I was scammed (of course, due to my personal inattention, curiosity and faith in people) and lost mostly everything. 
i managed to install a program on my macbook that hacked everything. 

on December 26, I started my life in crypto from scratch (and also had to completely, right down to zero, clean out the macbook)

to be honest, I was devastated, angry at myself, at my naivety. but there is nothing to be done - from scratch, therefore from the beginning. 

now all my bought degens are in lock, on the wallet, access to which is completely in the hands of scammers. 
and someone decided that I am not worthy of what is left.

as a person who gets every week a reward for good content i wanna say that

i am standing for my friends and for the community /ventures that onboarded me to crypto and warpcast. 

i can guarantee that they are all real people and true contributors to the ecosystem, not spammers or farmers.

i see what problem you guys are trying to solve, but i know better ways to do it and Im ready to share my thoughts on it if it’s needed.

please, I hope you will reconsider their ‘punishment’.

Greetings all Degens! The situation with the blocking is certainly a stalemate. And it is not clear on what criteria it was implemented. During my time here (since March 2024) I have met a lot of talented people, we communicate despite the fact that we are in different countries and on different continents and this is a confirmation of how Farcaster positions itself, i.e. a community created for communication and gaining new knowledge and skills. Not enough interactions? Well, not everyone can afford to be here all day long, most people have a main job that takes up most of their time. A lot has happened in the 10 months I've been here, but I've been loyal to the community and I haven't sold a single (!) Degen so far. Everything I've made in that time is locked. And to consider me a farmer, well, at least not practical, not that level. Do you think that deserves a ban, @jacek?

If this is not a prank or a mistake, this should be called much worse.

so, the 'creators' here are only who are seen as such by just one person. And the 'value' is also assessed single-handedly and with a biased eye (do not confuse with based)

If I get it right, a photo of my life brings no value to the community, but a photo of a big account / member of autofollow list / someone close to the dev, is just fine. the same goes for jokes, memes, quotes, movie reviews, etc. If a small acc does that and receives a tip for that, it's farming. If the same is done by a big acc, it's creating and bringing value.

you can what you want, but you gotta have clear rules and definitions before you begin punishing people for not following them. And when you start punishing, you can't just only do it to those you don't know or to those who are too small. Start with big ones and close ones too. There are so many posts with so little value and so much tips, you're gonna be shocked.

There are so few people in web3 space.
Imagine the numbers of protocols if there were no sybils and farmers in them. 

The best thing that happened with $DEGEN happened in Feb-Apr 2024, then Koreans wanted to farm it and steadily bought a lot of tokens, the yields at that time were cosmic and also thousands of people came to Farcaster (not only bots).

That's when the fatal mistake was made to come up with rules to keep interest - bans were handed out, history has repeated itself today.

I’m a real person, not a bot or a farmer, and I’ve always tried to follow the communities rules. If any of my actions seemed suspicious or were misunderstood, I’m happy to explain.

It’s really important for me to remain a part of Farcaster, and I’d be grateful for a second chance and the opportunity to make things right if I made a mistake..

I want to say that it is important for me to support authors whose posts either inspire me or make me happy. I respect that great content deserves recognition, and I want the opportunity to contribute for it. 

I hope to be able to join the community again and share my appreciation through tips!

GM Degen, I’ve removed all Degen tips from the /easypaid channel. Going forward, tips in /easypaid or similar channels will be removed. Farmers are extracting value instead of supporting creators. We’re working on better ways to protect token holders and reward quality content.

I think finding the real farmers and separating them from the people who value their tips is actually very easy. 
I had a little personal look at that dune with bans. I can clearly see the farmers there. Farmers are not hindered by the ban of 15 tips per season, it is quite possible to give out for 10. 
Farmers don't need a channel. 
Farmers just basically tip from their main account to another and at the end of the season just sell.
They don't value the product. That's the very problem moxie was facing.

I called this and stopped tipping back when they decided tipping someone who tipped you will excommunicado you.
Decentralised moderation is tough though so idk but also idc.
