The Omni Network team has announced the launch of the Omni Core core network, the base layer of the Omni Orderflow Engine. It includes a cross-chain messaging protocol and EVM, protected by Ethereum network solutions through restaking.
The proliferation of Ethereum rollouts has led to $58 billion in TVL being scattered across more than 40 networks, which has created significant problems for both users and developers. The Omni protocol was created to unify the ecosystem, giving users and developers the opportunity to seamlessly interact with Ethereum as if it were a single unified network. Omni Core supports instant seamless compatibility between major Ethereum-compatible networks, including Ethereum L1, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base, accounting for over 90% of the total blocked values in the entire Ethereum ecosystem.
