in Japan, it's socially acceptable and even seen as a sign of dedication to fall asleep in public places, such as on the train or in the office. known as inemuri (居眠り), this practice translates to "sleeping while being present." it reflects that the person is tired from working hard, and in some contexts, it is even seen as a sign of diligence and commitment.

Ha If everyone else is at it I'd fake it but I love a fake nap too. fr tho, in that atmosphere, I'd fake work too. I care as much about a corporation as they do about me. And I'd still nap in public cause why not 🎩 100 $degen
