The overall stablecoin marketcap has still been rising recently, but USDT has been contracting a little. On December 16th, USDT reached a marketcap of $140.5 billion, and now it's down to $138.7 billion. That $1.8 billion probably would've been a big blow to other stablecoins, but for Tether that's a 1.2% drop. USDT is currently facing delisting in Europe due to new regulations that are going live on December 30th.
