Does anyone in their crypto startup make use of surveys for e.g. market/customer discovery? If so, how do you verify signal integrity (e.g. bots, farmers, etc)? cc @megaphone-hq

Surveys are rarely a good research tool. Highly suggest reading “Just Enough Research”

main thing we’ve seen people do is to include social verifications on megaforms ie farcaster, twitter include those as optional but prioritize responses that include the info overall though for discovery you probably get highest quality via smaller numbers but deeper convos/interactions

haven't done surveys for that very reason instead, 1) ask people for feedback directly and/or 2) post publicly and read the replies
