evm shower thought:

1 an explosion of L2s are coming
2 block space will be commoditized
3 brand will become the differentiating factor
4 we'll soon see many "L2 for X" narratives
5 some will seed supply by incentivizing developers
6 some will seed demand by incentivizing users
7 fragmentation will make ux much worse

i would unpack 3 a bit

there are a handful that can become general execution layers with strong network effects. this is the prize that is still somewhat up for grabs.

there will be others that will find narrower pmf around certain use cases that will do well in terms of usage (value capture another topic)
