Did not know that. Another one: Mondriaan danced to Boogie Woogie at age 70, but as soon as he heard a melody he would say ‘let’s sit down’ 😉.

Amazing book. Also describes how he used tape (a new invention at the time) to adjust his composition before painting it. He died before finishing the painting 🖼️ , so the tape is still on there. Visibly!
