Planning a business dinner to thank some sponsors who helped out our firm. Having the St Reg title the menu cards with sponsor names and list some fun/personalized named cocktails for the group. Can anyone rec other personal touches that might make dinner and/or after-dinner cocktails feel special?

cc @alli who is brilliant at planning events like this! some of my tips: if small dinner, be intentional about where you sit people and let them know why design a good, fun icebreaker question to spark conversation a small gift is always thoughtful (@mags gave us candles, it makes me so happy) checkin on everyone

+1 to intentional seating, I also love sending the guest list out in advance with name + short bios so folks can get a sense of who they might want to chat with during the event itself (this works well for small groups). It can be fun to switch tables up halfway / before dessert too to get new conversations going!
