Because if someone wants to write a feature about you and your work, or include it in a diptych, triptych, etc. (which is free marketing for you), and you cannot be identified, your work will be overlooked.
It also helps with secondary sales, especially for those DM bargains. If one is unable to locate the piece within a reasonable time frame, it will remain unsold, and you will lose the creator fee.
Take care of your OS profile, edit it and make sure your name (or your ens) will appear on OS, not your wallet address. (8/10) 1 reply
