Trump’s leading pick for Treasury Secretary — billionaire hedge fund investor Scott Bessent — is very pro-crypto, particularly pro-Bitcoin. Some recent statements: “I have been excited about the president’s embrace of crypto and I think it fits very well with the Republican

Some of you know this, but it still needs repeating.. If someone on this app urgently wants to hop on a Zoom call to talk about an opportunity leading to financial gains for you, it’s likely a scam. Someone I followed here for years, followed me back the other day for

Not a use case, but a trend... I'd like everyone to understand that many apps and L2s are going to be centralized by design, and that's not just okay, it's wonderful, because being able to choose your own level of centralization is making onchain 100x more useful/huge.

absolutely ridiculous how much better prediction markets are than traditional media tune into cnn and it's televised schizophrenia showing 30% lead for wrong candidate in some completely red/blue state based on 0.21% votes reporting zero confidence intervals, zero seriousness

This is a 10-year old study of minerals in the mantle converting from ringwoodite to perovskite, releasing a small amount of water 440-660 km below the surface. If 1% of the transition zone contains water, three oceans’ worth of water would be just slightly muddy subsoil.

Mayor Johnson basically told the public that if the City Council does not give him his $300 million property tax increase he’ll cut 2,473 police, 643 firefighters & paramedics after already having eliminated 800 police officer positions last year.

The lAyEr tWo uX iS sO bAd crowd ignores that there's no alternative There's no scalable L1 right now, even among the crazy centralized chains So the question is whether you bridge between L1 to L1 or use rollups L1 to L1 bridges are an even worse UX, and insecure leading to

PSA to founders re: investor updates Only focusing on the positive & omitting the low lights keeping you up at night doesn’t build trust - it creates skepticism. The $ is already in- good investors help troubleshoot & solve problems. We anticipate the rollercoaste

Still don't think people appreciate how insane it is that Ethereum has many different clients *and* that they are fairly well-distributed across the network. This is one of Ethereum's crowning achievements because it is *incredibly* hard to achieve and requires years of work.

No Hamas propaganda will ever make Hamas look more badass than Israel's footage of Sinwar throwing a stick at an IDF drone with one fucking arm right before he died. I can't believe they released that video. They may as well have put a red triangle pointing at the drone camera.

There will be thousands of purpose-built blockchains that are composable, abstracted away from the end user, and serve a strong purpose in society.

2 years ago: L2's suck and will never be successful Today: L2's are going to be so successful that they will steal all activity away from Ethereum mainnet (but not my favorite L1) When the fud is this dumb, you know you're building the right things.

If only there had been a way to move gold across a telecommunications network, then central banking never would have existed in the first place. Think about that: the root problem plaguing human civilization is the lack of a highly portable and highly securable sound money!

Bitcoin miners in Texas don’t just mine blocks. They are revolutionizing Texas' energy grid by acting as a dynamic power source, reducing demand during peak hours and boosting grid resilience when it matters most. Flexible, reliable, and sustainable energy usage.

Bitcoiners should demand a future where every sat stored with a custodian is accounted for with a proof of reserves. This is almost as important as running a full node. It's our responsibility to enforce the 21 million!

Prior to 2020, Ethereum was already the most desirable ecosystem for Web3 developers to build on. With the explosive growth of L2s, the choice has become 100x more obvious for both current, and future blockchain developers. We're entering the golden age of Ethereum development.

Ethereum is the future of programmable trust. It allows you to define, measure, and minimise the very nature of what is trusted in a system. If you're part of a society or work in an industry where trust is scarce or people find it hard to trust you, then I'm confident that you
